Booz Allen Hamilton, Jefferies & Company and Heidrick & Struggles are pleased to present the 10th Annual CEO Summit in April 2008. At this celebration of our 10th anniversary, we are once again offering a small group of chief executive officers and corporate chairmen the opportunity to interact and discuss topical business issues with their peers in a confidential, relaxed and exclusive conference environment.
The Summit provides a private forum for CEOs and Chairmen to discuss challenges and successes, both personally and professionally, within the current market climate. Our goal is to share our thought-leadership exclusively with participants, to enhance a peer-to-peer networking and relationship-building environment, and to encourage relaxation and recreation within the world-class Pebble Beach resort.
2008 THEME
In this rapidly changing business environment, you make daily bet the business decisions that are critical to the growth of your company and to your very survival. Keeping the faith of your board, providing leadership to employees and maintaining a competitive edge in the global marketplace requires making great calls. How do you make those calls, empower your organization to make them, and avoid inherent pitfalls?
Because boards are impatient and markets unforgiving, CEOs must make strong choices often under the most extreme pressures of business. Those who can sift through mountains of data, navigate shifting market trends, and strategically weigh internal or external events are a cut above. They need more than just sound judgment - they must embolden their Boards, management and employees with a strong sense of market direction where daily business can be executed globally, in real time, and with no doubt about a companys sense of purpose. Strategic decisions must be made by multiple company constituents all participating, thinking, acting and working in alignment.
The choices for todays CEO are endless: massive technology advances that connect customers faster and with more choices; a changing workforce with new rules; unpredictable currency fluctuations; and a new global matrix of regulations to be navigated. You make strategic choices that must consider political, environmental, workforce and local and global community implications, often at the speed of light. Build or buy? Groom or recruit? Which decisions can you delegate and which must you, and you alone, own, even when the organization strains to move in another direction?
Your career and legacy are judged most of all on the quality of your choices, and the decision making capabilities of your organization. Well-aligned executive teams with an execution culture who are able to check their emotions at the door, be open and transparent and trust their teams, are a truly exceptional breed; and their results bear this out.

AGENDA
The 10th Annual CEO Summit will be a truly interactive experience that explores these issues with nuts and bolts keynotes, panel sessions and roundtable discussions. We will look at leading a global enterprise and decision-making challenges from three vantage points: strategy, leadership and finance.
Sessions will be led by your peers - CEOs and Chairmen only, who will discuss how their companies are dealing with these topics, each followed by lively Q&A. Then, participants will break into roundtable discussions to respond to specific issues arising out of each panel discussion. After report-backs, the moderator will tie these responses together and all will have a chance in a plenary session to discuss key take-aways.

The two-day Summit will be held at The Inn at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach, California. Participants are encouraged to take full advantage of all that Pebble Beach is famous for -- world-class golf, luxurious spa facilities and the stunning natural beauty of the Pacific Ocean and its surrounding coastline. The Summit will include some very special events and sports activities guaranteed to foster networking and relaxation. Spouses/partners are heartily encouraged to attend.
